# Patrimonio: the excellence of Corsica’s finest wines

Just a few minutes from Demeure Loredana, the Patrimonio appellation reveals one of Corsica’s finest wine regions. Between the sea and the mountains, this exceptional terroir is the birthplace of outstanding wines, shaped by generations of passionate winemakers.

## An exceptional terroir on the doorstep of Saint-Florent

Corsica’s first protected designation of origin, Patrimonio stretches in an amphitheatre around the Gulf of Saint-Florent. Its limestone soils, rare on the island, gentle sea breezes and abundant sunshine in Northern Corsica produce exceptionally refined wines that are both structured and elegant. As the seasons unfold, the vineyards transform the landscape, from the tender greens of spring to the golden hues of harvest time.

## Along the Patrimonio wine route

As you follow the wine route, discover renowned estates such as Domaine Antoine Arena et Fils, Domaine Yves Leccia, Domaine Lazzarini and Domaine Montemagni. Each reveals its own character through exceptional cuvées made from the island’s signature grape varieties:

- **niellucciu**, the king of Patrimonio’s red and rosé wines, with notes of red berries and spices;
- **vermentinu**, used to produce remarkable white wines that are fresh and mineral;
- **Muscat à petits grains**, which gives naturally sweet wines with beautifully intense aromas.

Over just a few miles, you will pass through family-run estates where the welcome is as warm as the wines are expressive.

## A wine tourism experience at Domaine Montemagni

Domaine Montemagni invites you to enjoy a true wine tourism experience: a walk through the vineyards, a tour of the cellars and a guided tasting of several cuvées, accompanied by a selection of Corsican cured meats and cheeses. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet the people who make the wine and discover what makes this terroir so distinctive.

## A gourmet day, followed by the tranquillity of Demeure Loredana

Enjoy an authentic gourmet interlude over the course of a day: tastings in the morning, lunch among the vines or on the port of Saint-Florent, followed by a return to Demeure Loredana to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the gentle calm of late afternoon by the pool, overlooking the gulf.
