Patrimonio: the excellence of Corsica’s finest wines
Just a few minutes from Demeure Loredana, the Patrimonio appellation reveals one of Corsica’s finest vineyards. Nestled between sea and mountains, this exceptional terroir is the birthplace of great wines, shaped by generations of passionate winegrowers.

An exceptional terroir on the doorstep of Saint-Florent
As Corsica’s first protected designation of origin, Patrimonio stretches in an amphitheatre around the Gulf of Saint-Florent. Its limestone soils, rare on the island, gentle sea breezes and generous sunshine in Northern Corsica give rise to remarkably refined wines that are both structured and elegant. As the seasons unfold, the vineyards create an ever-changing landscape, from the tender greens of spring to the golden hues of the harvest.
Along the Patrimonio wine route
Follow the wine route and discover iconic estates such as Domaine Antoine Arena et Fils, Domaine Yves Leccia, Domaine Lazzarini and Domaine Montemagni. Each reveals its own personality through exceptional cuvées made from the island’s emblematic grape varieties:
- niellucciu, the king of Patrimonio’s red and rosé wines, with aromas of red fruit and spice;
- vermentinu, the source of remarkable, fresh and mineral white wines;
- muscat à petits grains, which produces naturally sweet wines with wonderful aromatic intensity.
Over just a few miles, you will pass through family-run estates where the welcome is every bit as warm as the wines are expressive.
A wine tourism experience at Domaine Montemagni
Domaine Montemagni invites you to enjoy a truly immersive wine tourism experience: a walk through the vineyards, a behind-the-scenes visit to the cellars and a guided tasting of several cuvées, accompanied by a selection of Corsican cured meats and cheeses. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet the people who make the wine and gain a deeper understanding of what makes this terroir so unique.
A gourmet day, followed by the tranquillity of Demeure Loredana
A delicious and authentic interlude to savour over the course of a day: tastings in the morning, lunch among the vines or on the harbour of Saint-Florent, then a return to Demeure Loredana to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings and the gentle pleasure of a late afternoon by the pool, overlooking the gulf.
