The Story of Demeure Loredana, a Luxury Hotel in Saint-Florent, Northern Corsica
A Matter of the Heart
Some places are built from stone…
Others are built from a lifetime of passion.
A reflection of a journey
This hotel is a reflection of my journey, my vision of hospitality and my deep-rooted attachment to Corsica.
After many years in the hotel trade, I felt the need to create a genuine, elegant and tranquil place in an environment that has always held a special place in my heart: the sea, the light and the beauty of the Gulf of Saint-Florent.

A Home Open to the Sea
The project began in 2005 and came to fruition in 2007. At the time, few establishments in our region offered an approach to luxury rooted in authenticity, tranquillity and respect for the landscape.
I did not simply want to build a hotel, but to create a home open to the sea, where every detail would have meaning.
Handcrafted architecture
The hotel’s architecture reflects this philosophy. More than 1,500 square metres of dry stone have been painstakingly cut and assembled by hand by passionate artisans. The materials, colours and lines have been carefully chosen to preserve the spirit of the site and its harmony with the surrounding nature.
In the reception hall, an Indian maharaja’s balcony serves as a library, alongside a grand piano, Murano chandeliers, mirrors, a clock, wooden columns and chandeliers dating from the last century.
Forty Years of Passion
Over more than forty years in the hospitality industry, I have learnt that what truly matters lies in the attention given to each and every guest.
Today, as we celebrate 40 years in the hospitality world, I look back on the journey with gratitude. And I am still driven by the same desire as on my very first day: to welcome our guests with sincerity and share with them the simple, precious beauty of Corsica.
